I've got a acer aspire V5-571G and I dual boot windows 10 and windows 7. There are no problems when I'm browsing the internet on windows 10. But i can't use the internet on windows 7. i get an error code that the network adapter is missing. I checked it on windows 10 and the network adapter (Qualcomm Atheros AR5BWB222) is there and working. I've downloaded various drivers but no luck. Can someone help me?

Well, on Windows 7 you might be downloading the Network Adapter for the incorrect device. Why don't you try downloading the Network Adapter driver using its hardware ID?

What I've noticed is that Window 7 will not have the driver for the adapter installed. With Windows 10, most of your drivers will be pre-installed. Your best bet is to download the correct network adapter driver and put it on a USB stick. Then insert the USB stick to Windows 7 and install it.
