Can I replace a down arrow key with a left arrow key?

So here's the deal: I have an Aspire V-552P laptop and I recently busted my down arrow key (which was also a replacement). I've checked with replacementlaptopkeys, laptop-keys, and quikfixlaptopkeys and none of them carry the down arrow button I sorely need, and after some correspondence with replacementlaptopkeys, I've found out that they're not in production anymore. My question is this: can I use a left arrow key to replace the down key? Quikfixlaptopkeys still has those in stock for my particular model, but I can't discern whether this will work or not. I've tried comparing the general shapes, but unless I pry out the left arrow key, I can't tell. My gut says no, but I thought I'd ask anyway.

If anyone has any other website suggestions, please let me know! (As long as they're not suggesting ordering a completely new keyboard, which feels like a waste since I know I'll have to replace this one sooner rather than later!)
