I had overheating problems and fps drops on some games, so I changed thermal paste and it worked good before I reinstalled windows.

I had fps drops on The Phantom Pain and Cuphead but not now, after reinstalling windows 10, but when I play overwatch on same settings it's hitting 97C, before i reinstalled windows it was maximum 70.
What should i do?
Idle temps are 37-56

Try taking a look here at Sections 3 and 4. Try them out and let me know if any of them work for you. I would first suggest the first item under FPS Drop Solutions (Game mode, Game DVR, and Game bar) and playing a game to see if the lag persists.

  • If your temperatures are hitting 97, then you need to send it in for repairs/repasting.

Already changed Thermal Paste, it's about settings, cause I didn't have 97C before reinstalling windows..

Game settings wouldn't cause the laptop to hit 97C. Either PredatorSense is reading temperatures incorrectly and you need to download something else such as ThrottleStop or RealTemp, or it actually is hitting 97C. Did you have it undervolted before resetting?

No matter what I do with my laptop, it has never ever hit 97C. I hit 94C before changing my thermal paste, but not even then did it ever hit 97C.
