How do i get my helios 300 out a black screen at boot?

My predator helios 300 wont boot into windows after I connected an external monitor and disabled the laptop screen in Windows display settings and restarted it. when i turn it on i see the predator logo and then i get to a black screen with a mouse cursor that responds. the monitor will not wake when i click or move my mouse or press keys and i tried turning it off and on but its says no sigal and goes back to sleep despite my clicking and it being on the correct hdmi 1 on the menu. no matter if i start it with the monitor plugged in or not i get stuck at this black screen.

had you try to press Fn+F5 keys when at desktop?
