32GB storage insufficient for Windows 10 and its updates

Just bought a new Spin SP111-31-C2W3 three days ago, and will be returning it in the next week or so.  Why?  Because the 32GB drive is barely large enough to house the factory install of Windows 10 along with a few trial apps (Microsoft Office, Norton, Firefox).  Configuring it out of the box, it updates the Acer software and then settles into the Windows screen.  Running Windows Update results in several downloads, but when it comes to Microsoft's big (1GB) cumulative update that came out in January, it grinds to halt with insufficient disk space.  I did everything to alleviate it, from removing all trial apps, running disk cleanup, even downloading the cumulative update over the web and saving it to a thumb drive, and still no go.  Bottom line is that Acer shouldn't be selling anything today that runs Windows 10 with a 32GB drive.

I agree and have forced Win10-64 into 32GB machines before (can be done but not pleasant). However there are versions of the SP111-31 that have an N4200 four core processor and a larger drive like the 31N (stylus) -P2GH or 32N -P0FA with 64GB flash. Some have a memory expansion slot.

Have the previous version, an R11 (-P suffix) hot-rodded with 8GB and a 250GB SSD that can run with an i7 desktop. Use with a docking station and big displays at home but is a very nice travel package.
