Predator G3-571(Helios 300) - Audio Glitches

There's a small issue I've been experiencing in the past few days. Sometimes when I'm playing audio, there will be glitches that sound like pops or crunches - similar to the sound you can hear while inserting or removing headphones. I thought the problem may have just been my audio jack, but when I removed my headphones the audio was still glitching. It's not a particularly severe issue, more of just an annoyance - especially with the unpredictable nature of the issue.

I tried turning off Dolby Audio, but that didn't work. I tried different audio settings, that also didn't work. I tried to update my RealTek drivers but windows tells me that the driver is up to date.

I haven't damaged the hardware and I don't have any other issues whatsoever. At first I thought it could have been a heat-related issue, but I've checked the CPU and GPU temps during these episodes and the temps are in the 40C range, so not particularly hot.

Any help would be appreciated!

I suggest you to download the driver from realtek.com. If it doesn't fix the issue, you can try the driver from Acer.
Always post the following characterisitcs of the device:
    -Model number
    -Part number(not required, but helpful)
    -CPU
    -GPU
    -Operating system

Helios 300 and Nitro 5 users DO NOT update the BIOS to version 1.22 if you don't want the keyboard's backlight to turn off after 30 seconds even when the device is plugged in.

I had this issue once and at first my only option was disabling dolby.

But if you download driver booster and let it update all your driver's (I recommend uninstalling it after) using the free method it updates the intel audio drivers that were causing the issue

So completely uninstalling the realtek audio driver and reverting back to a default Windows audio driver works for me. No crackling sound. No other solution was working for me in removing the sound.

I also had that issue the first day i unboxed it and uninstalling the driver completely and reinstalling the ACER official driver fixed it no more crackling since and booted the sound with fx sound enhancer working side by side with dolby produces an amazing sound
