Registration and safety

I got a new acer iconia 10 tablet and I wanted to create an acer account and to register my device. I created an acer account (on acer website, on my browser), but I typed in wrong email address (accidentally, but that wrong address exists)! I didn't notice that at first so I went to settings on my tablet -> accounts -> add account-> acer account and then I typed in my correct (I suppose) my address and checked the "use this account to register device" checkbox. It said there was an error. When I realized what I've done, I've made new acer account (with correct email, different password) and tried to sign in on my tablet with that account, but again there was an error! Also, nothing like a confirmation or something like that was sent to me when I made that second account (which usually happens when you make an account anywhere). So my questions are:
1. Is it possible that some important information was sent to a different person?
2. Is there any way to check if my tablet is registered by searching for a serial number or something similar? Or maybe if my tablet is registered to that "wrong" account, I should be able to see it there?
3. How do I sign in and register on my device, since it always says "there was a mistake"?
