I plan on purchasing: Aspire GX-281-UR16 Ryzen 5 1400 (3.20 GHz)
I need to know exactly what 8 gig.memory to buy for this machine and which SLOTS to add it to for dual-channel functionality ?
I want quality name brand memory.....Crucial, Kingston, GSkill, Cosair
Answer please someone from Acer as I need to purchase quickly (PC died) and from NewEgg for quick delivery.

I don't work for Acer.  I would call or email Kingston or Crucial and see if they have compatible memory.  You can buy the exact OEM parts online but I think it's overpriced.  Example link  If you email Crucial, you can give them the Micron OEM part below (Crucial is the retail arm of Micron).  If you email Kingston, you can give them the Kingston OEM part below.

Thank You Jordan, I tried contacting Kingston and Crucial with the PC model......to no avail ??
Now with this new info I'll try again.
As for price I saw New Egg had a sale on some G.Skill 2 sticks of 8 gig for around $150. (may still be high)
Without the info you provided I was reluctant to pull the trigger. More confident now.
If I may ask where did you find this info.

Ok great. Crucial must read the forum, because I see they recently added listings for GX-281.  Or they responded to your inquiry and added GX-281 to their website.

If you have trouble with  your GSkill, then I would go with the part below.  It should work fine with your existing RAM too.

Great!! Thank You.... Jordan without your help I would have bought a 2 stick kit to be safe and spent over $150.
Now confidence is high with the part from Crucial/Micron.
Even though the part number is not the same as the one you quoted I think this will work: CT10744863

If thanks were weighed in grams I would owe you TONS...........

I edited my post to reflect CT10744863 as the best part that you mentioned.  Oddly enough I think Crucial edited their website from the time I posted.

    You've got the right part.  :)   CT10744863

Yes, yesterday (Sunday) in U.S.   I went back and looked at what I had previously posted and it said "GX-281" right on it.  Strange.
