My Acer Aspire One AO722 cannot seem to see that I am connected to a HDMI port and connecting to a TV. It worked just fine not long ago until I up and updated some drivers for the AMD Radeon graphics card. I uninstalled/reinstalled/uninstalled over 5 times and even did more than one System Restore Point. I also even installed multiple software to tell if they were up to date. I know for a fact that they really are not. I had HDMI sound coming out of it just fine when I first hooked it up. Now I do not have any coming out. I see the image coming through the TV just fine, but not reading it as HDMI. I even check Device Manager and it is not showing HDMI hooked up at all. Just VGA hooked up.

If your TV is connected to the HDMI port --- and if you can see the image on the TV just fine --- then the TV must be 'reading' the HDMI port just fine. Jack E/NJ
