Benchmark Help for Predator Helios 300 g3-571 77qk

I recently got a relative to purchase the Predator G3-571 77QK laptop in U.S.A. Before bringing it to India, he is conducting a few benchmark tests to know if the laptop is performing all well and good (Since there is no International Warranty applicable here.) The benchmarks that he will run will be the 3D Mark Benchmark(Basic Edition) and UserBenchmark for CPU and GPU. I am completely new to the gaming fraternity, hence I could only find these suitable free benchmarks. My biggest worry is that the Laptop on which he will run the benchmark won't have updated GPU drivers and BIOs, So will the benchmarks still portray an accurate picture?? Also will it be safe to run these benchmarks on an outdated driver?? I can't really ask him to update the drivers. So I have no choice but to let him run the benchmarks on an outdated driver.

Also if someone can suggest a better free benchmarking tool, it would be much appreciated. Thanks a lot!

Do you have a laptop/pc already (I would assume so?)? There is a program called TeamViewer (at http://www.teamviewer.com) that would allow you to remote control the new laptop to install anything, like Drivers and games, and you can run them and see what FPS they are getting.

The drivers and BIOS will not really have a substantial difference in benchmarking. Benchmarking itself is not really the best way to check if it is running well, because even if it does not score high, it can still play games really well.
What I would have your relative do is download a game that you want to play and run the game run it for about 30 minutes, and see what temperatures you are getting under high loads, because these laptops sometimes get a crappy thermal pasting job done on them. And if you take it out of the country you purchased it in, you can no longer send it back for warranty without going back to that country.

What can I do if I can't get him to run a game? I am not really sure if he'll have access to games like Witcher 3 or GTA 5. He might not know how to install and run the games.

Remember you're not really going to be able to see the performance through teamviewer, but it will be enough to run and test.
