Graphics Driver - No Update?

I have been trying to use an exercise app (Zwift) that keeps freezing up on me.

After sending over logs of my computer specs to the company, they responded that my graphics drivers haven't been updated since 2015 and needed to brought up to date.

He noted that it was a 4400 HD and that should be good enough.

However, when I try to update the driver, I get error messages that tell me I must get it directly from Acer.

Unfortunately, when I log into Acer with my serial number and go to the Drivers section, the only download available for my graphics card is the same one already on here! 10.18.15.4248 is the driver version number, if that helps.

Is there any way to get this updated?

Thanks!

You can try a manual update.  Not sure if it will work.

    https://downloadcenter.intel.com/product/81497/Intel-HD-Graphics-4400

    Manual Update Method1:

    https://www.intel.com/content/www/us/en/support/articles/000005629/graphics-drivers.html

Manual Update Method2 (have disk method):

    ------------------------------------------------------------------
       Microsoft Windows* "Have Disk" Installation
    ------------------------------------------------------------------
    1.  Download the latest driver from Intel (download the zip file---not the exe file) and extract/unzip it.
    2.  Go to "Device Manager".
    3.  Expand "Display adapters" and double-click the graphics controller.
    4.  In the "Driver" tab, click "Update Driver".
    5.  Click "Browse my computer for driver software".
    6.  Click "Let me pick from a list of device drivers on my computer".
    7.  Click "Have Disk..." and click "Browse".
    8. Browse to the directory where you unzipped the file you
downloaded, click the "Graphics" folder, and select the
        "igdlh64.INF" file. Click "Open".
    9. Click "OK" and click "Next". The operating system will install
        the driver.
    10. Click "Close" and click "Yes" to reboot. The driver should now
        be loaded.

    I'm not an Acer employee.
