My Predator Helios 300 has 128 GB of SSD and 1TB of HDD. Should I download games onto the SSD first or the HDD? I was wondering if filling up the SSD might slow down boot time or hinder any other types of performance.

Answers

  • No, it wont hinder performance to have some games on the SSD. However, I suggest this:

    - Any big games of 2GB+ (which are the majority), go to the HDD
    - Any files, such as music, pictures, and videos, go to HDD.
    - Applications like web browsers, antivirus, screenshot applications, etc. go to the SSD.

What's the reason to separate applications from files and games?
