    Hi Azali,

To diagnose the issue, reset your Chromebook to its original factory state from the sign-in screen by pressing Shift + Ctrl + Alt + R and clicking Restart.

Then fully charge the Chromebook and check the issue.

If the issue persist, please open a CROSH shell, by typing Ctrl Alt t, and then type battery_test. After the test is done, type Exit. Then come back here and tell us what it says about battery health.

1% and not charging sound more like a bad charger than the normal "doesn't display the right capacity" error that everyone seems to see. Do you have a different charger to test with or a tester to measure the charger output?

Yes, and the symptoms make it sound like the charger has failed.
