i have recently bought the nitro 5 i5-7300hq and 1050ti variant. mine doesnt have an internal ssd, and the 3 year extended warranty has some clear restrictions on what i can add on my notebook. What are the type m.2 ssd(s) i can add so that my warranty is still intact ? also if i can add an extra internal hdd.

You can install any ssd brand with no restrictions. Damaging a component during the installation voids warranty. Just make sure the storage capacity of the M.2 SSD isn't more than 512GB(512GB is recommended by Acer). The laptop only has one SATA 3 port for SATA HDD/SSD and one PCIe M.2 port for SSD, so if you already have an HDD installed you can't install a second HDD as there is no place for it.
Always post the following characterisitcs of the device:
    -Model number
    -Part number(not required, but helpful)
    -CPU
    -GPU
    -Operating system

Helios 300 and Nitro 5 users DO NOT update the BIOS to version 1.22 if you don't want the keyboard's backlight to turn off after 30 seconds even when the device is plugged in.
