Hi,
My laptop is an Acer E5-575G 55GR which comes with a 1366x768 TN display, model LP156WHU (TP)(F1).
I wanted to upgrade to a FHD screen, so I purchased a BOE NV156FHM-N41, instead of the NV156FHM-N42 suggested in some posts.
I mounted the new screen, the image is really good, also the viewing angles are really better than the original panel.
I have no problems with the brightness regulation.
But I have a problem: randomly some horizontal bands lighter than the image appears and disapears like flashes.
I link a video in which you can see the problem:
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=oTLlwq-qHjsThe EDP cable was perfectly connected with the panel.
The screen works pretty well, but have this issue. I tried to connect the laptop to an external monitor, in order to exclude a problem of the gpu: it works perfectly.
I tried to reinstall the original screen, and works perfectly.
The vendor said maybe is a problem of the cable. He assured that the N41 model is the same as the N42, no differences.
Do you think is a problem of the new screen, of the cable, is an incompatibility with my machine or something else?
Thank you.
