Laptop won't boot up on first try, fans start and the led power button turns on but the display never lights up, when I hold the power button to turn it off there is an audible click and then it shuts down.
On the second try it starts fine.

Where is the click sound originating? This usually means a hard drive issue. HDD is failing. I would move to backup your data ASAP while it is still functioning. There are tools you can use to try and see if the hard drive is repairable but honestly It's a lot easier and less of a headache to just replace it.

Its kinda hard to tell but its sound like its coming from close to where the leds are. And what would it take to replace the HDD?
