Hello, I currently own a E5-731 Laptop bought about 3 years ago, The BIOS version is as old as 2014 and today, I see on Acer’s website that this laptop has up to six Bios s/w update (from 2014 to 2016.

I would like to upgrade my laptop to the newest version (as I do for relevant drivers and applications) however I see the following message: “Upgrading your system BIOS incorrectly could harm your Acer product. Please proceed with caution”. Can I still do it? Do I need to do a backup 1st, Can I reset to the original state if issues occur and at last, do I need to follow a specific order like 2014, 2015 and finally 2016 files?
