Hello.
I just bought the xg270hu monitor and was looking forward to playing in 144 Hz. I use the display-port cable as needed, but still don't get 144Hz. So I looked it up and some people said I can change it with new drivers. But there are no drivers for Windows 10. Can it be a GPU-problem? I am using a GTX1080. I thought you only needed a amd gpu if you wanted to use freesync.

as new drivers, probably they mean Nvidia drivers, not monitor, since windows 10 doesn't need monitor drivers on new monitors.

you need to check on nvidia control panel if you can set 144Hz.

check also that your model is not Acer XG270HUAomidpx, if so, the maximum refresh rate is 75Hz
