Wireless Display

Hi all,

I recently purchased a Dell U2417HWi wireless monitor to use with my ACER Aspire R5-471T laptop.  The laptop is able to wirelessly connect to the monitor and drive the display.    Problem is after about 30 minutes, the connection is dropped and screen resizes to just the laptop.  There is no error message displayed and windows lets me reconnect immediately to the display.  I've called Dell and they put it on windows and Acer.  

Any ideas on what in the laptop could be causing the laptop to periodically dump the wireless display?

My machine stats

Intel i 5-6200U CPU with 8GB Ram, running windows 10, 64 bit

Any help would be much appricated

Seems like a timer issue. Have you checked or tried to adjust power settings for displays on either the laptop or monitor? Jack E/NJ
