How to solve 100% disk usage?

I own a Acer Spin3 and I can say this is the far worst laptop I have ever owned.
It's running at 100% disk usage from start-up even from fresh recovery.
It's a shame to be running on core i5 7th generation, but the response time will make you lose temper.
I've been trying to reach out for support, and there was no good reply.
This will be the last Acer product I will ever buy.

What Spin3 model number? Was the "fresh" recovery done from a coldbootoutside the Windows environment? Is it still under warranty? Jack E/Nj

I think the HDD has gone bad. Open command prompt and enter the following command:

    chkdsk /f /r /x

This will fix any drive errors and isolate bad sectors.

NOTE: If you are still under warranty contact Acer in your region and request a repair of your device.
Always post the following characterisitcs of the device:
    -Model number
    -Part number(not required, but helpful)
    -CPU
    -GPU
    -Operating system

Helios 300 and Nitro 5 users DO NOT update the BIOS to version 1.22 if you don't want the keyboard's backlight to turn off after 30 seconds even when the device is plugged in.
