Hi, I am trying to change the HDD in my Acer Aspire V3-571G(?) since it is barely functional (it says 100% HDD constantly)
I've tried 4 different HDDs and when i try to boot to any of them, it always says "no bootable device" it always find the old HDD when i swap that in again. I've tried searching around online and tried a bunch of things like booting with a USB device inserted to make it "rescan for bootable devices" is there anyone who can help?

I understand that you only have only 1 storage drive, which is the HDD, right?
Always post the following characterisitcs of the device:
    -Model number
    -Part number(not required, but helpful)
    -CPU
    -GPU
    -Operating system

Helios 300 and Nitro 5 users DO NOT update the BIOS to version 1.22 if you don't want the keyboard's backlight to turn off after 30 seconds even when the device is plugged in.

You need to have windows installed on the other HDDs that you have tried to install in order to boot up the laptop.

You need to create a windows installation media on your USB drive. You have to make sure the drive is GPT partitioned and FAT32 formatted.

The laptop wont find anything I plug in, no USB sticks, no other hard-drives, nothing shows up when it launches into Boot Manager, no matter what I set the boot order/priority to(except for the old hard drive)

Please try to create a windows installation media on your usb drive from the link above. Remove the currently installed drive and install the new drive. Make sure your BIOS is set to UEFI mode. Plug in the usb stick and set it first on the boot list.
