Sorry, I couldn't see a support section for this headset. I've just bought an Acer Predator 300 and it came with this VR headset. I want to use my Steelseries USB headset and microphone with the VR headset but it appears to only support headphones with the regular audio plug connected directly to the VR headset. How can i use my USB headphones and mic?

you need to plug the headphones to the Predator, not the VR headset.
remember to set it as default device on both playback and recording
(right click the speaker icon near clock and date, then click playback or recording devices)

I'm aware of that... You think i had the headphones unplugged sitting on the table waiting for it to work? The issue is that the WMR doesn't seem to support microphones that aren't plugged directly into the audio-in on the headset.

    press windows logo key
    then type
    mixed
    click on settings (5)
    click on Choose a Microphone...
