I update the latest audio driver from this site (https://www.acer.com/ac/en/US/content/support-product/6964?b=1&pn=NH.Q1ZAA.001). I successfully update audio however I'm still missing Dolby Audio app that I know the fact that the G9-593 model has this dolby app feature. I already look up at Realtek's site (http://www.realtek.com/default.aspx) but still cannot find what I'm looking for. Please help!

If you completely uninstall the realtek driver and install the newest version from realtek's website, dolby audio should appear I think.
Always post the following characterisitcs of the device:
    -Model number
    -Part number(not required, but helpful)
    -CPU
    -GPU
    -Operating system

Helios 300 and Nitro 5 users DO NOT update the BIOS to version 1.22 if you don't want the keyboard's backlight to turn off after 30 seconds even when the device is plugged in.

It is R2.82 64bit. Download the executable file or the archive it doesn't matter which.

    FIXING this DOLBY PROBLEM!

    1. Uninstall your recent Realtek drivers. (go to the sound icon, click the right button--> sound settings --> properties and than advanced--> uninstall)

    2. Than install these new drivers from here: https://www.acer.com/ac/en/GB/content/support-product/7296?b=1

    3. Go to "disk (C:)" --> Programms and files --> go to the surch spot (top right on the screen) and write "DAX2"

    4. Wait for a few seconds and when "dax2_app_release_x64" appears - intall it.

    5. Restart your computer and go to Start menu --> click the Dolby folder and it should finnaly appear!

I have tested it only on Acer Predator 15!

    Greetings,
    Stan

Hi all, for anyone stumbling through here like I did. I found a work-around.

Download the audio drivers for the g9-793.

The g9-793 is just the 17 inch version with the same core specs. It's clear the drivers on the acer site a broken for the g9-593 but the g9-793 drivers are still good.
