Anyone have a fix for warnings in event viewer about PCI Express Root Port?

When looking through the event viewer, I see many, many warnings that look like this:

A corrected hardware error has occurred.

Component: PCI Express Root Port

Error Source: Advanced Error Reporting (PCI Express)

Bus:Device:Function: 0x0:0x1D:0x3

Vendor ID:Device ID: 0x8086:0x9D1B

Class Code: 0x30400

I have noticed that if I disable the wireless network adapter (Qualcomm Atheros QCA61x4A) the warnings stop. I am having no trouble with my Internet connection and, in general, having no problems with the functioning of my laptop (Acer Aspire R5-571TG). Any thoughts about this warning?

check your BIOS version
windows logo + r keys
type
msinfo32

check BIOS date version, if below 1.08 please update it

then check again your issue

then check again your issue

Thanks for your response! I did the BIOS update and the warnings still occur. It was worth a try, but it didn't effect the warnings.

ok, i think it will be worth installing the wireless driver from the Acer support service

Thanks for this suggestion. I installed this driver from Acer support and I still get the warnings. Maybe, since I'm having no trouble with my Internet connection and don't see any problems with the way the computer is performing, I should just ignore the warnings?

you can ignore it if the performances are good as you mention.

as a last try, you can uninstall from device manager the wifi adapter and then let windows re-install/download the driver again (with an ethernet connection available).

Tried it but no help. The warnings continue, sometimes every few minutes. I think I'm going to quit on this problem for now. Thank you for your attempts to solve it!

I have the same exact error. I’ve updated, installed all device drivers and no luck!
