no bootable device

Recently, my laptop shows a no bootable device. I dont know what wrong with it and I assume that my hdd just died. So is it safe for me to replace it with new hdd? Or is there other problems that causing it such as internal damages besides the hdd?

    enter BIOS pressing F2 key and check if your HDD is somewhere listed, if not it's died and it's save to change it with a new one.
