Information Needed Regarding Intel Optane ?

I have an Acer E5 575G 50ZZ Notebook and i want to install an Intel Optane But I Have Few Questions Regarding it As Follows:
1) Does My Model (Mentioned Above) Have an M.2 SSD Port To Install Intel Optane or Any M.2 Type SSD ?
2) My Model Has Intel i5 7200U Processor with FCBGA 1356 Chipset......... Does This Chipset Support Intel Optane Memory ?
3) When Will The BIOS Update To Support Intel Optane Memory Will Be Released ?

As You People Know That It Has Been Months Since Intel Optane Is Released & There Is Still No Updated BIOS To Support It, Everything Else In My Model Are Ready To Support Intel Optane Memory Like: BIOS Running In UEFI Mode, Intel RST 15.8 Installed etc. Only An BIOS Update and These Questions are Stopping Me From Buying an Intel Optane , So Guys Anybody Knowing Answer To These Questions Please Drop a Reply It Will Be Very Helpful To Me......... Thank You in Advance!!!

You need a MB with Intel 200 series chipset or newer and a Optane compatible UEFI, we don't have these in E5-575G model, currently Optane memory is used mainly in Desktops to boost the speed of the spinner drives, I don't expect it to make it to mobile market in the near future, purely a guess.

Hi,
Intel Optane is not compatible in your model, you have a M.2 SSD slot, you can check whether it's compatible with NVMe SSD by following this thread:https://community.acer.com/en/discussion/497241/acer-aspire-e5-575-52jf-m-2-nvme-support/p1

Yes, it has an m.2 slot. Accordingly, I'd have to guess that the new memory is backward-compatible with existing m.2 SATA technology. But might not reach its full speed potential due to other hardware bottleneck unrelated to the BIOS firmware. If your system was mine, I think I'd hafta try it to see what happens. 8^) Jack E/NJ

My comment only applied to the presence of an m.2 slot and its ability to use a newer m.2 drive that's backward compatible. Jack E/NJ

Thank you brummyfan2 for your reply... It's now clear why i cannot install intel optane in my laptop... I have an little question since i cannot install intel optane, i had seen your previous post regarding m.2, i want to install an m.2 drive in my laptop & in HWInfo i i saw that PCIe port 9 (i.e. PCIe version 3.0 , 2x lane is only empty) all the other ports are occupied by graphics card,wifi card etc. So my question is can i instali install an m.2 nvme ssd in an PCIe Version 3.0, 2X lane??... Please help.... & Thank you again!!

You are welcome yes you can install a NVMe SSD.

sorry to disturb you again bro... but after installing the ssd in my PCIe 3.0, 2x lane will i be able to shift windows 10 to it and boot directly to windows from this ssd ???.... Thank you again for all the help & patience!!!

Yes, you can transfer your OS to it by using Macrium reflect free to make a full backup, create a USB recovery disk and recover the image on to the PCIe drive, then go to BIOS and change the boot order to make the PCIe drive as your first boot device.
Or
You can use Minitool Partition wizard free and use the Migrate feature to transfer your OS to it, then change the boot order in BIOS to make the PCIe drive as your first boot device.
