How can i disassembly an Acer Aspire 5 A515-51G-303X ?
I want to add an additional ram bar.
I have removed all screws, but cannot remove lower or upper panel? also the 2 smaller panels on the lower panel cannot be removed.
Does anyone has a clue how to continue, how to remove the keyboard and the lower panel ?

Your device has 2 RAM slots, one of which is located on the other side of the mother. Usually on this side of the mother is located the pre-installed RAM. This where you can install the new RAM module: http://prntscr.com/hhxv0g

Always post the following characterisitcs of the device:
    -Model number
    -Part number(not required, but helpful)
    -CPU
    -GPU
    -Operating system

Helios 300 and Nitro 5 users DO NOT update the BIOS to version 1.22 if you don't want the keyboard's backlight to turn off after 30 seconds even when the device is plugged in.

  • Hi,
You don't need to disassemble the laptop to upgrade RAM, you need to remove one screw(yellow circle) from RAM door at the back, insert a plastic or use the finger nail(Red circle) to release the tabs and lift the small cover. You can upgrade only one module and the other one is soldered on the motherboard.
