Hi, ven98, do you know of any known issues with installing windows 8.1 and which drivers/software do you think I may have problems with?.

    It could be any drivers. 8.1 is still supported by microsoft and drivers(graphics, sound, wi-fi and e.g) are still supported on windowd 8.1. The issue is that the device is designed to work with windows 10, so you might experience some incompatibilities. 

    You can create a recovery drive of windows 10 and then install 8.1. If your device doesn't work well with 8.1 you can install windows 10 back from the recovery drive.
    Always post the following characterisitcs of the device:
    -Model number
    -Part number(not required, but helpful)
    -CPU
    -GPU
    -Operating system

    Helios 300 and Nitro 5 users DO NOT update the BIOS to version 1.22 if you don't want the keyboard's backlight to turn off after 30 seconds even when the device is plugged in.
