How do I replace my motherboard to upgrade to i7 7700k on my Acer G3-605
Hi I have a acer g3-605 prebuild pc. I have used it for 3 years now and
on the backside of the pc it says recommend to not open. But I still did
because I need to.
I'm familiar with software but not with hardware so I really need help with this.
I want to replace my i5-4460 with a i7 7700k. I think they do not have
the same socket so I cant just place it in there. So I googled around a
bit and I think I need to replace my motherboard for my i7 700k to fit.
But I don't know if the motherboard will fit in the case since it's
prebuild and pretty hard to access inside the pc. Or if I need to buy a
new case. Could someone please explain to me how to do this.
Thank you in advance.
