About a week ago I flexed my screen into a tablet mode and heard a faint crack, I thought it was coming from the hinge at first, but now I see it was the screen (the crack covers 25% of the screen as it spread further just by opening and closing the lid). It sucks that I discovered this flaw this late, as I didn't really use my laptop in tent/tablet mode before, and after speaking with Acer i found out they want $339.99 USD to repair it. That is ridiculous expensive, especially because it is a clear design flaw which occurs among many of their products, and they would not even admit it. I told the representative about such problems with similar products as mine and he just said that no such thing exists, when it clearly does on this community site. (

I am so disappointed with Acer, they seemed like a professional, should have listened to my friends I guess.
Does anyone know where I can find a replacement touch screen? Touch screen only or LCD and touch
