Acer Swift 3, 8th Gen Intel Core i5-8250U, NVIDIA GeForce MX150, 14" Full HD, 8GB LPDDR3, 256GB SSD, SF314-52G-55WQ

So I've had this computer for less than a month, and I'm already experiencing issues.

For one when exiting sleep mode the screen usually stays blue with white text, and it takes a long time for me to actually be able to type my password to login. I also frequently have errors when I first turn it back on. I haven't written all of them down, but I know I've gotten the two folllowing: DPC_WATCHDOG_VIOLATION and VIDEO_MEMORY_MANAGEMENT_INTERNAL. A couple times these errors have led to Windows updating, but usually not.

And I don't particularly use this laptop that much, I got it primarily for work with the intention of using it as a portable personal computer occasionally. I've downloaded some stuff but I don't think it's enough to affect how it runs when it's still so new. Does anyone know what's causing this or how to fix it? Should I look into returning or exchanging it?

About the first error I am not very sure what exactly it is, but most likely it is not your machine's fault. About the second one VIDEO_MEMORY_MANAGEMENT_INTERNAL make sure intel and nvidia graphics drivers are up to date. Update the nvidia driver to version 388.00 from nvidia's website.
Always post the following characterisitcs of the device:
    -Model number
    -Part number(not required, but helpful)
    -CPU
    -GPU
    -Operating system

Helios 300 and Nitro 5 users DO NOT update the BIOS to version 1.22 if you don't want the keyboard's backlight to turn off after 30 seconds even when the device is plugged in.

So I've had the new driver for a week now. It is occasionally still slow on startup, but I haven't seen any errors like before. Thanks ven!

    Hello,
I am using Swift SF314-57G, its been a month and its good, the working speed is normal. But when i start the computer, it takes longer than usual (This started less than a week), It shows last reboot time was 5.0 sec, but it took longer than normal. It starts with acer logo and then screen goes black for a while for around 10 secs and then goes to login page. Is there any solution?

    Thank you,
    Kam.
