I've only had this laptop for under half a year, but it's already starting to have problems:
  1. Occasionally, when the charger is unplugged, a Blue Screen error occurs. Stop code in this case is KMODE_EXCEPTION_NOT_HANDLED and What failed: intelppm.sys. Cannot reliably replicate by unplugging.
  2. When the laptop is on battery power, it can randomly power off without shutting down.
  3. When playing certain games, the BSOD SYSTEM_SERVICE_EXCEPTION, intelppm.sys occurs after an amount of time. It does not happen for all games however.
OS Name Microsoft Windows 10 Home
Version 10.0.14393 Build 14393
BIOS Version/Date Insyde Corp. V1.06, 07/07/2017
SMBIOS Version 3.0

    Intel CPU driver issue.

you can try to uninstall the Processor driver on Device manager or (way better) do a windows factory reset.
    I'm not an Acer employee.

Thanks for the input! I forgot to mention that the laptop just had a fresh install of windows. Can the CPU drivers still be an issue then?

    No, i don't think so.
Better call Acer support service, since you are still under warranty.
