Guys, I have just bought an acer aspire e17 straight outta bestbuy for like nearly 2 months ago. It was running on no problems until it always ran on 100% disk full in task manager. So, then I decide to spend my last weekend to reset the thing, however, it kept running on100% disk, I don't understand what has caused this and I have tried everything on the internet but it just didn't work. Please help!

    Hi,
What's the full model name of your laptop?  Have you tried a battery reset? If you haven't follow the instructions in the video and leave the laptop to rest for a while before you start, if that doesn't help, try the methods in the link , please backup the OS and your important files on an external HDD before changing the registry entries, to be on the safe side.

Except this, do you have some other issues like frequent freezing or slower startups?
Always post the following characterisitcs of the device:
    -Model number
    -Part number(not required, but helpful)
    -CPU
    -GPU
    -Operating system

Helios 300 and Nitro 5 users DO NOT update the BIOS to version 1.22 if you don't want the keyboard's backlight to turn off after 30 seconds even when the device is plugged in.

if u are using windows 8 or 10.
    go to menu.
    type 'services'
    click on 'services'
    find superfetch.
    disable.

    Restart your PC.

make sure windows maintenance/defragment is not set to auto.
if problem still exist or else its maybe because windows updating.
