XG270HU monitor - OSD settings will not change DisplayPort to HDMI

I have my PC hooked up to the DP input and my PS4 hooked up to the HDMI input on my monitor. It will not switch inputs from DP to HDMI under the OSD settings option. If I manually try switch it from DP to HDMI, it just goes black for a second and then pops back up with the DP input. Basically DP seems to override the HDMI input regardless of manually selecting HDMI. If I shut down my PC, or disconnect the DP cable, the HDMI input works fine.

I found the below thread asking about it. Several people mentioned the same issue but no one had a solution. Any suggestions?
