I have already upgraded the wireless at least once and added Bluetooth functionality with this wireless card. But I would like to upgrade to better card that possibly offers better wifi connectivity (aka better download speeds) and if possibly better Bluetooth connectivity. My home router supports the latest technology but the wireless card I have in my system right now is not the fastest so I'd like to have a better option.

I don't think that card will work with the Acer 5755. When I first upgraded my card I someone had told me the only way to really be safe and get the a card that works correctly was to look at the connections on the card and compare them to other cards. The card you asked about has different connections that the ones that work in this laptop.

These are both half-size pcixp minis. Some of the pinouts aren't used so you can't go by the metal tabs. They both should work just fine in your machine.  Jack E/NJ

I believe the 7260 has the same exact stats as the card I have now. I have an Asus model# AR-5B22 in my system now. The download speeds of both are rated at 300mbps and mine is also BT 4.0. I am looking for something more robust than that, maybe 800mbps or higher if possible.

Thanks Jordan. There you go. BTW, the 7260 was advertised at a max of just under 900mbps, Jack E/NJ
