Aspire E15 keep screen off and freezed after Windows innactivity period

I recently updated my laptop Acer Aspire E15 Touch (E5-571P-52QK) to Windows v10.0.10240 (before was installed a previos version of Win10). Since then, when the computer swift to innactivity period, I mean Windows turn off the screen for save energy after a configured time, and I want turn the screen on for using it again by moving the mouse or pulse some keys, the screen dont turn on again and the sistem look like was freezed because not only the screen don't work, the keyboard don't seems to respond neither the power button. The only thing I can do at this point is to turn off the system by force keeping presured the power button until the power is off.

This situation is very frustating. How can I solve it?

Maybe is a problem of drivers? BIOS? But the system works fine except for that problem of the screen.

What I can do?

Hi,
Yes, I expected to be grey(like mine) because Aggressive Link Power Management is enabled in Windows 10 by default(I guess), let us try something else, please create a system restore point, go to this tutorial and Add AHCI Link power Management, once you done that, go to Advanced Power Options and select Lowest(as shown in the tutorial) and see whether it helps.

Hi,
Go to Device manager(right click start), expand Keyboards, highlight and right click Standard PS/2 keyboard, go to Driver tab and uninstall the driver, reboot and let Windows install the driver.

After a couple more of tests, I realiced that the problem is not when Windows turn off the screen and swift to innactivity period, is when Windows turn off the laptop for innactivity. I waited for Windows turn off the screen and inmediatley I move the mouse or press some keys and the screen turn on inmediatley, instead when Windows turn off the system for innactivity, is when the problem occurs. When that happens the power led indicator remaing on and the power button doesn't work and I need to turn off (the led) by force keeping presured the power button. The same happen when I close the laptop screen (I configured that action for hibernate). Butnot ocur when I hibernate the system manualy through the Window's home menu.

@brummyfan2 After I writted before, I don't think the problem is the keyboard driver. Maybe another driver, but not the keyboard.

Go to Device manager, expand Human Interface Device, right click I2C HD Device and go to Properties, check your "Allow this Device to Wake your..." item greyed out.

I must say that last night the laptop came with the same problem hibernating it by the options in the Home menu. Before I said that by this way I can avoid the problem but seems like not. Maybe that detail can help.

Well, looks like it works! I used the laptop the whole day turning on and turning off, and open and closing the screen and works as expected, without problem. Looks like that solution works. Thanks!
