I did a factory reset on my Acer Aspire notebook to clean it up for resale. Now Internet Explorer just gives me error messages when I try to connect. According to the computer, I am connected to WiFi, and the troubleshooter can't identify any problem. I have tried downloading new drivers (on another PC that can connect to the internet) to a USB drive, but when I attempt to install them it appears that there is no installer program on the notebook to open them. Folks I am in way over my head, just wanted to clean the computer before I sold or donated it, and now the internet doesn't work. Any advice at all is appreciated! Thanks.

    Hi,
You can use Snipping tool to create a snip, save it in your Pictures folder, click the Insert Photo in the header of Leave a Comment, browse to the Pictures folder, click the snip and open.
Have you tried deleting your old connection and creating a new WiFi connection in Network Internet settings?
