Hi there,
I'm new here, and I'm writing because of a strang problem around my V15 keyboard backlit.
I'm using this nice notebook for more then 1 year, and among the main features (ssd support, nice gpu, etc) the backlit keyboard was the one which I liked very much. I had a dell previously, and I liked to type in the dark room.
The backlit of my V15 worked fine for 1 year. When I typed, it light up, and after not touching it for about 10-15 sec, it went off. (as far as I saw in this forum, several people don't like this feature, they want the keyboard light stay ON forever - but I'm the opposite - I realy like it to fade out, when I only read the screen). But about 1 month ago, my keyboard backlit stopped working. It is ON everytime, I can only turn it off using the fn+F9 keys. But it turns it off completely. I want back my 15 sec auto-turnoff!
Yesterday, I left my notebook open here on the desk, and went out for dinner. Came back, and saw the screen OFF (black), but the keyboard shining :(
I had something to do, and suddenly, my keyboard light went OFF! I checked the clock - that was completely after 1 hour I left it here alone before dinner. The notebook was still alive, everything worked, but finally the backlit went OFF - only after 1 hour instead of the 15 sec, like before. I double checked it today!

So, I'm pretty sure, there is some hidden setting, which drives this timeout counter, and it changed about 1 month ago, when some realy big Win10 upgrade came down (developer upgrade, or how they called it). I went through the complete Registry, looking for "keyboard" and "backlit" keywords, but couldn't find any relevant.
Does anyone has some idea, where to find this setting? I realy want back my 15 sec fade out keyboradlight, and hopefully we can help for those, who want them shine forever!

thanx guys.
