You have to let them repaste it with their own thermal paste in order to not lose the warranty. Apparently custom thermal paste voids warranty.
Always post the following characterisitcs of the device:
    -Model number
    -Part number(not required, but helpful)
    -CPU
    -GPU
    -Operating system

Helios 300 and Nitro 5 users DO NOT update the BIOS to version 1.22 if you don't want the keyboard's backlight to turn off after 30 seconds even when the device is plugged in.

How much you have undervolted the CPU? If you have undervolted with 100mV or more, that means the thermal paste has gone bad. You will have to repaste the CPU with some good quality thermal paste like Arctic mx-4 or contact Acer and request a repair, telling them that the laptop is overheating.

As expected. For some reason the technicians at the service centre apply too much thermal paste, thinking that more is better. You have 3 options here. 1. Send it back for 2nd re-paste(will be just a waste of time). 2. Leave as it is now(not very convenient) and 3. Repaste yourself, getting the best result(best option, but unfortunately voids warranty and now because the laptop came back from service, probably has a void sticker on one of the screws on the case itself, stopping you from opening the laptop at all).
