Coming from a soon-to-be-former Apple user:

Can I plug this phone into my laptop or home computer and use it like a flash drive to copy mp3 files and pictures to and from the phone?
Does it come with a built in mp3 player? If so, does the mp3 player show album art?
What is the average length of the battery charge?
What is the cost of a replacement battery?
Where can a replacement battery be purchased?
Is it possible for the user to charge the batteries himself?
Can I increase the built in storage capability of the phone?
If so, what type of card can I use, and what is your cost?
Are the phone dimensions a standard size so that I can purchase a case from my cell phone store down the street?

by the way, some are generic android questions so:

1) yes, you can use every android smartphone as MTP USB storage, so copy/paste/move files

2) yes, stock Google music player but there are plenty of option for free on google play, my suggestion is to try Foobar Mobile that supports Album art, various file format and has EQ too

3) battery charge...depends on model
