Hello,

I am having a BSOD issue when I try to boot using my ssd as the 1st boot option. I installed the ssd and cloned my hdd to it. But I cannot even format my hdd to wipe it clean probably because I am booting into the hdd? Please help. I almost want to reset my pc, pull out the hdd connector and boot windows on a usb to make it install on the ssd.

if you dekstop has an UEFI BIOS, the first bootable device must be windows boot manager, not HDD or SSD.

have you tried to disconnect the HDD and boot from SSD only?

cloning from HDD to SSD can cause some issues sometimes, like BSOD.

keep in mind that you need to delete the EFI partition on your HDD to avoid windows boot manager issues at boot, expecially on cloned partitions.

    I'm not an Acer employee.
