Acer Aspire F15 F5-573G-52QJ WiFi

My Acer Aspire F15 recently facing a WiFi connection problem.
I connected to my home WiFi, everything show in computer seem normal. Showed connected to internet, but when open browser (chrome, Firefox, Edge), all cannot access to Internet. Even Microsoft update also cannot.
Ethernet works normally. I brought my laptop to service center, they checked on my network adapter work normally, but still cannot access to Internet. They advice me do a full format, it probably software problem.
I had formated twice, the problem still there. Is it the problem come from between the windows 10 and the network adapter driver?

Hi,

Go to Settings, Network and Internet, click WiFi in the left pane, click Manage Known networks in the right pane, click any unknown networks(neighbours') and slect Forget. Reboot and see whether it helps.

Download the driver version 12.0.0.191 from acer support site, extract it, go to Device manager and unistall the current driver, without rebooting install the downloaded driver and see whether it fixes the problem.

Hi,

Try removing the current WiFi connection from Network connections and create a new WiFi connection, go to Control panel, Network and internet, right click and disable WiFi, then delete it, remove the driver from Device Manager and create a fresh WiFi connection.

Your explanation is a little off, so it is difficult to ascertain the problem.

IF you "connected to my home WiFi" and could not access the internet it suggests a firewall or gateway problem. Discount firewall as ethernet leaves the machine.

So the next step is to accept the WiFi card works, as it shows in Device manager and the Service Centre checked it over, and establish by how much does it work, if 0% then we goto square 1 and do all the things everyone else has done.

CLI, Command Line Interface, DOS box or Command Prompt as administrator. Type these...

getmac just to list the 3 devices, Ethernet, BlueTooth and WiFi (with no ethernet cable in use)

ping 127.0.0.1         NO ethernet cable connected, and the result should be similar to this....

The ones above how there is a card in place and it does the basic test.  If so...

I can only see that the default gateway is 192.168.1.254 as is the DNS and DHCP servers.

I would expect that the DNS would be an external number.

ping to 8.8.8.8 and even temporarily set your DNS to 8.8.8.8 to try and get an external connection.

I sent in service center for warranty. The technician said the WiFi intermittent and ping very high. They need to check on it.
I will update here what is exactly the problem when take back from them.
