Acer Chromebook 11 CB3 has a light burnt plastic smell?

unfortunately my chromebook has a very light burnt smell to it and I wanted to ask it if this is usual.

I have been using it for roughly 4 months. It's just very light and seems to be stronger at the left side of the chromebook. I am afraid that the seller of this notebook won't accept a return, because it's barely noticeable and the chromebook seems to be functioning well otherwise. Except for one incidence where it wouldn't be able to show me any networks and responded quite slowly and I had to restart several times before the error would disappear.

 

I would appreciate any help.

I have opened my chromebook and it's definitely coming from the speakers. Both sides are affected.
