I have the GX-792-77BL and when I play a game like Battlefield 1, there is a blurry line going up as if its an old CRT display but its like... a 4K IPS panel... If I turn off V-Sync or G-sync, I still get the same issue. Ive uninstalled the driver and rolled back to older ones, but that didnt fix anything. I have to play in Windowed mode because Fullscreen and Borderless have that same effect. I tried recording it with the built in software but it wouldnt show up there and the game is perfectly fine when connected to a separate display. This is aswell as my new unit because I sent one in for overheating and Acer sent me new one because they didnt have the parts to repair it. So far when I googled this and it happens on VGA cables when they are near other things because of interference, if this unit is defective, I will try to get a full refund from Amazon and just build a way better PC for 1K less. This is Not a 3K laptop in terms of quality. One other thing, the edges of the display were not pressed in correctly and some parts were sticking out, I had to press it myself(Gently of course) and thats not a really a big issue but if Acer misses something as simple as that, then that goes to show on how their quality team handles expensive products. Hope that this display isnt defective.
