i have the acer iconia B1 -710 how do i take out mcafee safelive from the tablet

i  have the   iconia  b1-710    i can not put in another  security program  even though it is mcafee  i was told by  mcafee that the  factory install had to be taken out before i can install new    sad but it is a mcafee program and they do not know how to do it    they told me to contact acer   but it is long out of warrenty    any one  know what to do  ??????????????

if you can't normally uninstall as other application, these means that McAfee app is system installed and cannot be uninstalled.

you can only try to disable (settings/apps - scroll to McAfee app, tap it and choose to force stop and disable) and check if you are able to install another security app.

thanks i   disabled   the current acer installed     but was unable to download the mcafee multi access by aol   it said installed and open  i get a screen   that said buy now  full access premium

if it says buy full access premium...the app is downloaded.

 

you need to contact McAfee.

thanks   it did download  some thing  its a trial for 7 days    but not the  free multi access i should have  i talked to mcafee  a few min ago they keep telling me to call aol     i spent  10 hrs last week with this problem   and neither  could fix it   funny since its a mcafee program
