Acer Aspire XC-704 - White wire on MB

Hello,

 

I just purchased the XC 704 and thought I'd add a graphics card in the PCI Express slot.  The challenge was that there is a black wire and white wire that run right above that slot to a connection on the motherboard.  Although I tried to be careful in inserting the card, I did end up disconnecting the white wire from the MB.  And with my thick fingers, I am having a hard time reattaching it.  So 2 questions, anybody know what that white wire is for (I have yet to locate the MB manual with that info) and any suggestions on how to reconnect.  It looks like there is a small connector on the end (guess my eyes are not what they used to be) of the white wire, but so far I cannot reconnect.. maybe I should solder?  Or if anybody can point me to the MB manual, that would be great.
