Connecting to a LED TV by way of a HDMI splitter.

I have a laptop and I am connecting it to a HDMI splitter. From the splitter I have a projector with HDMI input, computer monitor with HDMI input and a LED TV with HDMI input. Previously I used a two way HDMI splitter connected to the same laptop and the projector and computer monitor and everything worked perfectly. The PC was set to "extend" using the Connect to a Projector utility. I recently added the LED TV and a four way HDMI splitter. When I connected all the devices and powered on the PC, only the projector works. The monitor reads "signal not available" and the TV reads "Signal type not supported". I called the manufacturer of the TV and they said to contact the manufacturer of the laptop. They also said the computer needs to be configured to allow the TV to work. Any ideas? The PC is running Windows 7 Home Premium.

A splitter may change or degrade the signal type/strength.
