Hello!

I am new here.

I have recently bought a Predator XB271HU bmiprz 27". I was aware of the fact that IPS monitors are glowing and, in addition, many suffer from backlight bleed (BLB).

I have made some pictures (ISO 100 and ISO 200) to demonstrate the BLB.

My question: is this amount of BLB normal/acceptable? Should i return or keep it? I know it could be much worse.

Thank you for any suggestions!

This monitor will be sent back. There are a lot of reasons:

    - two defective pixels,

    - backlight bleeding (again: how much BLB is acceptable?),

    - glowing (very annoying in dark scenes in games; are other IPS panels better concerning this matter?),

    - an inhomogeneous illumination (noticable not only on a white background),

    - a terrible anti-glare coating (it does not eliminate reflections effectively).

My old 150€-monitor did not give me all that problems. Smiley Sad
