XR341CK Nvidia frame skipping at 75Hz

Anyone have an suggestions on this? I know this is a freesync monitor, but currently I'm running nvidia (I got this monitor for a steal).

Instead of saying just use an AMD card, this monitor SHOULD work with the nvidia at 75hz, but I have frame skipping issues and general jittery and choppy game play.

ACER won't even acknowledge I have this monitor as its out of warranty through email or online chat (thanks for the support guys...) and I can't see any solutions to this Acer/NVIDIA issue.

    Hey there,

What have you tried re the settings to overcome this?

Im not sure how well or if the two work well together, for your reference recently i had an AMD system

inputting to my x34 gysnc monitor and expierienced similair issues.

I resolved this by buying the G3 710 which was native Nvidia gysnc.

In your case, it may still be possible to get it working to a better satisfaction if you get my meaning.

    Keep trying man.

    Cheers

    Mayhem.

I was going to purchase a Vega 56 or 64, but extremely difficult to find any at retail pricing.    This whole mining situation, along with Acer's support, makes me seriously rethink wanting to purchase the 38" acer ultrawide.

The XR341CK was listed as a 75Hz refresh natively, regardless of nvidia or amd.   I guess that's completely untrue.

    What I have tried:

    -different Display Port cable

    -flip display port cable around

    -HDMI cable overclock

    -Custom resolutions

    -3 different drivers

-Change about every single mode I can in the XR341CK.

-see if firmware update was anywhere, nowhere is there an update

Short of buying a cheaper Fury X or shelling out $700 for an AMD Vega, I have tried everything to figure out the horrible frame skipping at 75Hz.  Anything above 60Hz will cause it.  So 75Hz with an Nvidia card is basically useless.

I have its successor the XR342. I'm driving the monitor with an Nvidia gtx 1080 I get frame skipping @ 100/110Hz (max overclock I can get) but no frame skipping at 75Hz according to the blur busters web site. I dont know if that info is of help to you.

    Hi DogChainX,

I'm sorry that you're having issues with your monitor.

Can you please send me a PM with the S/N of your unit and the exact model of the NVidia card your using, so I can look into this for you?

    Best regards,

    Acer-Manny

I haven't resolved it yet, but have been busy with a house build.  So i haven't responded to Acer's late reply.  I'll update this thread if I find out anything.

    Hello,
I have the same problem on my BX340CK.
What does the support response to you?
