XB271HU - LED indicator always orange, screen goes black every few hours and can't be started

Bought an XB271HU monitor the other day, it works fine except for a few things. The LED indicator which is supposed to be blue is always orange as if the monitor is on standby, it only goes blue for a few seconds if I unplug the power cable and plug it back in.

The screen also goes black sometimes, like every 4 hours and I have to restart it. Sometimes it "crashes" and i hear the windows unplug sound, when that happens it can't be restarted and I have to unplug/re-plug it.

Does this sound familiar to anyone, should I even bother troubleshooting more? I have tried different cables and everything so it's either the monitor or the PC.
